1. Who we are
Blaze (the "App") is developed and published by RED & BLUE LTD ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for the purposes of this policy. Our registered address is 34 2nd Floor Ioma House, Hope Street, Douglas, ISLE OF MAN — IM1 1AP, United Kingdom (GB). You can reach us at VEDDANOOJ@redblue-tech.xyz.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use the App. It applies to the Android
application Blaze (package com.blaze.tech.lab) and to this website.
2. What we collect
Nothing.
We do not collect, receive, transmit, store on our servers, sell or share any personal data. Specifically, the App does not collect:
- your name, email address, phone number or postal address;
- account credentials — the App has no accounts and no sign-in;
- device identifiers, advertising IDs or an IP address;
- location data of any kind;
- contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera input;
- usage analytics, telemetry, diagnostics or crash reports.
3. Why that is technically guaranteed
The App's Android manifest declares no permissions whatsoever —
in particular it does not request the INTERNET permission.
Without that permission Android will not allow the App to open a network connection, so there is no
path by which data could leave your device, whether we intended it or not.
The App bundles no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social login and no payment or billing component. There are no third-party services embedded in it.
4. What the App stores on your device
So that your progress survives closing the App, Blaze writes a small amount of game state to Android's local application storage (a DataStore preferences file inside the App's private sandbox). It contains only the following, and it never leaves the device:
- your Ember balance and lifetime career counters (shifts played, best score, cells burned and similar);
- which furnace you own and have selected, and the level of each rigging upgrade;
- your foundry rank and achievement progress;
- the report of your most recent shifts;
- the daily Stoke claim date and streak, and a flag recording that you have seen the onboarding.
This data is not personal data — it does not identify you — and it is readable only by the App itself under Android's per-application sandbox.
5. Deleting your data
Because everything is local, you are fully in control of it. Uninstalling Blaze deletes all of it permanently. You can also clear it at any time without uninstalling, through Settings → Apps → Blaze → Storage → Clear data on your device. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no deletion request to submit.
6. Retention
We retain no data, so no retention period applies to us. Data stored locally by the App remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App.
7. Sharing and transfers
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not have any. No data is transferred outside your device, and therefore no international transfer of personal data takes place.
Where the App is distributed through Google Play, Google may independently collect information about the download and about your device as part of operating the store. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy and is outside our control and outside this policy.
8. Children
Blaze is a general-audience arcade app. It contains no real money, no purchases, no advertising, no chat and no user-generated content, and it collects no data from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data, contact us — although, given that the App has no way of sending us anything, we would not expect to hold any.
9. Your rights
Data-protection law (including the UK GDPR and the GDPR) gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. We can only exercise these rights over data we actually hold, and we hold none. The practical equivalent — deleting everything the App has stored — is entirely in your hands, as described in section 5. You remain free to contact us with any request or to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
The strongest security measure available is not to hold data at all, and that is the one we use. The local game state sits inside the App's private storage area, protected by the Android application sandbox and by your device's own lock screen and encryption.
11. This website
This site is a static set of pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and hosts no tracking pixels or contact forms. It does load three public libraries and two web fonts from their content delivery networks (Tailwind CSS from cdn.tailwindcss.com, Font Awesome and AOS from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, and Bungee and Space Grotesk from Google Fonts); as with any resource fetched over the internet, those providers will see the request your browser makes to them. We receive nothing from it.
12. About Embers
Embers are an arcade score resource inside Blaze. They are earned by playing, spent only on furnaces and upgrades inside the App, and have no monetary value. They cannot be purchased, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything outside the App. Blaze contains no real money, no purchases and no payment processing of any kind, so we never handle payment information.
13. Changes to this policy
If the App ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be reflected in the App's Google Play Data safety declaration.
